We hope you are all enjoying your week so far. When we get super busy, it’s sometime hard to find snacks that can give us energy without loading us up with sugar and processed foods. Well, we have found a recipe that is insanely tasty while giving you TONS of health benefits at the same time.

Have you heard of spirulina? Right now, the wellness world is obsessed with the blue-green algae for both it’s benefits as well as it’s beautiful color (hello unicorn everything!) While the color is gorgeous, we are more about the amazing health benefits that come with adding spirulina into your regular diet.

The algae helps to detoxify heavy metals from your body and helps to strengthen your immune system. Spirulina also is believed to prevent cancer, because it increases the production of antibodies, infection fighting proteins and other cells that improve immunity overall. In addition, it lowers blood pressure and reduces cholesterol. We could go on and on about the benefits of spirulina, but we will just leave you with this delicious recipe to see for yourself! As always, enjoy!
