Here at Cornucopia, we are dedicated to supporting local businesses on Long Island and New York. As much as possible, we want to provide products to you that are from right here in our backyard. From supporting local farms with produce to bringing in some awesome products to stock our shelves, we love working with local businesses. And that’s why we want to introduce our local spotlight of the month! This month, we’d like to showcase Keep Healthy Inc.
Keep Healthy Inc. is from just up the road in Northport. They got started while founder Ron Sowa was living and working in Abu Dhabi. It was there that he learned of an ancient tradition — sharing dates during social occasions. He was enthralled in this social interaction. But moreover, Ron loved that sharing dates meant those enjoying dates were getting a major punch of nutrition with each bite.
Why dates?
Just how amazing are dates for you? Well, just to name a few, they are full of:
