We’ve reached November. How crazy? It feels like the year has just blown by.

With November comes the time for holiday parties! From office parties to getting back together with your family, November is the true start to all of the food-centric festivities.

So of course when you’re starting to plan out your Thanksgiving and other holiday meals, don’t worry – we’ve got your back. Especially with these tasty walnut bars. They are the perfect treat to enjoy after a delicious meal with loved ones!  Plus, there’s only 5 (yes, you read that right- FIVE!) ingredients and are ready with just about 10 minutes of active cooking time.

Our star ingredient here is Enjoy Life’s allergen friendly chocolate chips. They are dairy free, nut free and soy free – meaning EVERYONE can enjoy them. They are a must have for the holiday season. Add them to your favorite baking dish, cookies, bars, bread…the list goes on and on. But just make sure to hurry, because they’re now on sale at the store and that means they’ll be going fast!

They’re dreamy, creamy and totally adaptable to your liking! Feel free to switch out the walnuts for any nut of your choosing, from pecans to almonds. These bars are truly a recipe that will have everyone coming back for seconds. They may even become your next staple for holiday get togethers.


Walnut layer –

5-7 Medjool dates, pitted (about 1/2 cup, packed)

1/2 cup unsalted, natural almond butter

1 1/2 cups unsalted walnut halves, divided

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1/4 tsp. salt (optional)

Chocolate layer – 

1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips

1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon unsalted, natural almond butter


1/4 cup chopped walnuts
