We are keeping things really simple for today’s #meatlessmonday. That’s why we are in the kitchen making a super simply, cream dish – avocado pasta. Such a fun take on the next time you are making pasta for dinner. 

All you need a few ingredients – and you probably already have most of them in your fridge and pantry!


12 ounces pasta 

2 ripe avocados

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves

2 cloves garlic

2 tbsp. lemon juice

1/3 cup olive oil

S&P to taste

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved



  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain well.
  2. To make the sauce, combine avocados, basil, garlic and lemon in a food processor. Season with S&P. Add a little bit of olive oil at a time until everything is well blended.
  3. Combine pasta, tomatoes and sauce. 
  4. Serve!
