Happy Holidays!

We hope you have been enjoying spending time with loved ones. One holiday tradition is drinking eggnog. We decided that instead of drinking it, we would use the rest of the eggnog that wasn’t used for overnight oats! It’s a perfect way to make good use of whatever nog you have left, while getting in a nutritious and filling breakfast after the holidays.

 

Ingredients:

1/2 heaping c. rolled oats

2/3 c. Califia eggnog

1/3 c. Greek yogurt

1 tbsp. chia seeds

1/4 tsp. nutmeg

 

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients into a jar. 
  2. Place your top on the jar and shake well.
  3. Put in the refrigerator for at least four hours – preferably you’d want them to stay overnight.
  4. Top with seasonal goodies such as dried cranberries and pecans. ENJOY!
